November 1, 2007 Beating Around the Bush

So I am very dissapointed that my man stood me up on Tuesday. I don't want to sound demanding but I don't want him to do that again AND I want him to make some concrete plans for the next month. I am going to be out of town so much, I'm really concerned about how little time we're going to have. I also haven't heard word one from him about the party we're supposed to attend this weekend. I wish I could take a class in relationship communication.


Me: Hi
TGG: Hey there!
TGG: How was your Halloween?
Me: How are you feeling?
TGG: Sick :(
Me: My Halloween was un-Halloweenish.
TGG: I've got one of those bad sinus colds where you are so congested you tear up
Me: Awww
TGG: Yeah, I watched Sleepaway Camp and went to sleep around 10PM
Me: We must have the same thing.
Me: I thought you were going to trivia?
TGG: Nah, we have a traditional Halloween movie marathon
Me: But that's right, you told me you watch movies.
Me: That's cool..
Me: BFF came over and made me take medicine, drink water, and go to sleep.
TGG: Aw
TGG: That was nice of him
Me: indeed
TGG: It's kind of funny/sad that we both got sick with something different at the same time
Me: Hope he doesn't get sick now!
Me: heh
Me: I think we got the same thing differently. Mine is sinus but no sore throat.
Me: I wonder where it came from!
Me: oh well
TGG: Well, at least I won't feel too bad about leaving you alone if you're in the same cold-ish situation :P
TGG: Hopefully it doesn't last too long
Me: :)

Me: So what's the plan for Saturday?
Me: I don't expect to be online much between now and then.
TGG: I really don't know yet.
Me: ok
TGG: Provided I'm better by then (I really hope so, but I've had colds go a long time), I think I'm going to try and spend most of the day getting the house in a presentable state.
Me: ok
TGG: I still have no idea for a costume
TGG: It will probably be something quick and lame
Me: awww
Me: I'm a princess.
Me: :)
TGG: Right, but what are you going as :P
Me: heeheehee
Me: You can be my prince. ;)
Me: Then you don't have to wear a costume.
TGG: Aw
TGG: Well, I'll figure something out
Me: Well, you just let me know where to be and when.
Me: Or if you're not feeling up for it let me know.
Me: Maybe I'll bring you some chicken soup over the weekend.
TGG: Aw, thankee :)
TGG: Regardless of how I'm feeling I'll be going to the party
TGG: But with any luck I'll be just fine
Me: I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!
